I'm collecting information for a presentation about Windows OS CPU scheduling. Currently I know followings: Early days with DOS version there were nothing called scheduling since its single user and single thread. Windows 3.1 NT support multiprocessing since it has GUI's need to run processes in parallel and its non-preemption. Windows 95 has preemption scheduling to improve responsiveness. Windows Me and after use priority based multilevel feedback queue algorithm. Appreciate if you can provide more details about this?
