Windows Vagrant - Unable to SSH

I am just getting started with Vagrant on Windows(8.1), and supposedly have a running VM. When I do vagrant status, it comes up as running. However, when I try to ssh into the VM, I get "ssh_exchange_identification: read: connection reset by peer". I have also tried using Putty after converting the private key, but after a few seconds I get "Network error: Software caused connection abort". I have Portable Git installed with the path to ssh added to PATH, so I don't think that's the problem. I've also tried disabling Windows Firewall, and that's done nothing either.

Any help you can offer would be really appreciated, as I'm about to lose my mind.
