obtaining virtual com port name in Windows

I need in my application to obtain name of virtual COM port in Windows, which corresponds to my FTDI converter. I already tried to use libusb, but with this library I can already only determine that converter is connected to PC (by reading PID and VID) and it's address. And here is my question - how with this informations provided by libusb can I determine corresponding COM port - the number will be sufficient (is it COM1 or COM2 etc.). Should I use also another library? I tried to use lsusb version for Windows, but it doesnt show this parameter.
