How to set a linux host into promiscuous mode on a windows host?

I want to allow my linux guest to run in promiscuous mode on a windows host. How do I do this?

Side note: I am curious in this question--> but am I using it correctly? My guest cannot access the wireless network. Will putting the guest into promiscuous mode fix this? Or am I approaching this wrong?
