wsd communication from/to subnet

Aloha Community,

I've got a problem:

all the printers in our network should move to a private network.

This works fine when they are connected via ipp.

The problem wich occurs is that many of those printers are a printer/scanner combo which need wsd protocol since ipp does not support scanning.

and sniffed around using wireshark when detecting and connecting a printer via wsd (when both are in the same network).

the article says that the ports udp:3702 and tcp: 5357/5358 are used.

when sniffing around i found something completely different:

the pc talk from port 61062-61067 and 64667 to port 161 of the printer.

also port 80 for normal http is used.

i am totally confused and cannot find any information towards which ports should be open so that the pcs and printers can talk to each other.
