Kibana does not show search results

I have elasticsearch 1.4.4 running locally on Windows 8.1. I stored some documents, and I can actually retrieve/count the documents using curl commands.

I also have Kibana 4.0.0 server running locally. I can access Kibana UI, and it can retrieve information about the index stored in elasticsearch. I can see that the json mapping is correct (in the Settings tab).

However, when I try to search the data in the Discover tab, nothing comes out, no results. I tried changing the time range (or even reseting the index setup without setting a time field), but still no luck.

I am having this issue in my personal machine. At work, I was able to setup Elasticsearch running on Linux, and Kibana server on Mac OS, and everything went fine.

Has anybody experienced similar issue before? Thanks in advance.
