VCBuilde.exe on Windows 7 when installing socket.io

I'm trying to install socket.io using npm install socket.io, and received error on the terminal.

MSBUILD : error MSB3428: Could not load the Visual C++ component "VCBuild.exe". To fix this, 1) install the .NET Framework 2.0 SDK, 2) install Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or 3) add the location of the comp onent to the system path if it is installed elsewhere. I have downloaded .Net Framework 2.0 (without SDK) Service Pack 2 (NetFx20SP2_x64.exe) this .Net Framework version actually requires Windows XP. during the installation process, I received error as shown below.

So what I should install to be able to use VCBuild.exe to compile socket.io ?

P.S. On my system, I have installed .Net Framework 4.5.1
