Cannot restore windows image or VHD

Another update 2: I could convert the VHD file to VDI File, Can anybody advice how to get files from any of them?

Here is an update: I gave up the windows, and now I have Vhd file that was created by windows image backup, I need to extract files from that vhd, this image failed to restore using backup and I tried winimage , it says "Error reading the file" is there any tool that can explore and extract from this vhd? Here is the original problem :After my windows crashed I have external HD contains Backup of D: partition , which in return contains a system image, the image has 2 VHD one is 53 GB and the other is 125 GB

when it try to extract the image (as a VHD file) it says: "The backup file is corrupted or missing. Check your hardware configuration or restore from a different backup."

also i have copy of that image on drive, but it seems also useless for example I cannot attach to Disk Management

please help on how can i get this image restored or even get some files from it !! or any third party solution?
